Georgia Chess Association (GCA)
The Georgia Chess Association is the premier source for information on Chess in Georgia, particularly in and around Atlanta. Most tournaments and many other events are posted on their calendar, including all state sponsored championships.
United States Chess Federation (USCF)
The USCF serves the United States in the same way the GCA serves Georgia. They often fill gaps in the GCA coverage for regions outside the Atlanta area and neighboring states.
Chess Club and Scholastic Center of Atlanta
Founded by GM Bend Finegold and Karen Boyd, this is the most active and best run chess club in the state of Georgia.

We may be a bit bias, but we are fond of this club even if it is only open Fridays and Saturdays.
